This WS confronts one of the most powerful forces in our cultural lives: the internalized father. In Schema Therapy, this figure often lives on as the Punitive or Demanding Parent mode, shaping identity through pressure, judgment, and emotional inhibition. While patricide by the son is a recurring motif in (male-authored!) cultural history, the daughter never kills the father—why? Drawing on Moreno’s Words of the Father and tracing a cultural father/son/daughter line, this workshop integrates Group Schema Therapy, Psychodrama, and Expressive Arts. Through emotion activating techniques, participants challenge internal authority and access the Vulnerable Child beneath coping modes: So a new inner authoritity can emerge – courageous and resonant, fragile as glass, yet unyielding as glass.
