معتز عبد الوهاب منتج سينمائي مصري تخرّج في المعهد العالي للسينما، وتمتد مسيرته لأكثر من عشرين عامًا في صناعة الأفلام. شارك في إنتاج عدد كبير من الأعمال الفنية، شملت أفلامًا وثائقية وأفلامًا قصيرة، إلى جانب فيلمين روائيين هما حظر تجول ولما بنتولد، الذي رُشِّح لتمثيل مصر في سباق الأوسكار، وحصد جوائز عديدة أبرزها من جمعية الفيلم والمهرجان القومي للسينما. كما شارك معتز في مهرجانات سينمائية متعددة عضوًا في لجان التحكيم، وحرص على دعم المهرجانات ومشاريع الأفلام المستقلة، إيمانًا بدور السينما في فتح مساحات جديدة لحرية التعبير والإبداع.
Moataz Abdelwahab is an Egyptian film producer who graduated from the Higher Institute of Cinema, with a career spanning more than twenty years in filmmaking. He has contributed to producing numerous artistic works, including documentary and short films, in addition to two feature films: Curfew and When We Are Born, the latter of which was selected as Egypt’s submission for the Academy Awards and received several awards, most notably from the Film Society and the National Film Festival.
Moataz has also participated in several film festivals as a jury member and has consistently supported film festivals and independent film projects, believing in cinema’s role in opening new spaces for freedom of expression and creativity.
