Mera Abdelmalek is an Expressive Arts Therapist and the founder of Art Awakened, a platform dedicated to fostering healing through creative expression. A graduate of Tanta University with specialized studies in Art Therapy from Ain Shams University, she is an active member of both the International Association for Group Psychotherapy (IAGP) and the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST).
Mera has an extensive international profile, having co-presented “The Vital Child and the Hero’s Journey” workshop alongside Dr. Christoph Fuhrhans in both Japan and at Cairo University. Her practice is deeply committed to humanitarian work, particularly with displaced populations and neurodivergent individuals, empowering them to navigate life’s challenges and find their voices through painting, movement, and storytelling when words fall short.
ميرا عبد الملك هي معالجة بالفنون التعبيرية ومؤسسة منصة “Art Awakened”، وهي منصة مخصصة لتعزيز الشفاء من خلال التعبير الإبداعي. تخرجت ميرا من جامعة طنطا، وصقلت مسارها المهني بدراسة العلاج بالفن في جامعة عين شمس، وهي عضوة نشطة في كل من الجمعية الدولية للعلاج النفسي الجماعي (IAGP) والجمعية الدولية للعلاج بالمخططات (ISST).
تتمتع ميرا بخبرة دولية واسعة، حيث شاركت في تقديم ورشة عمل “الطفل الحيوي ورحلة البطل” (The Vital Child and the Hero’s Journey) بالتعاون مع الدكتور كريستوف فورهانز في كل من اليابان وجامعة القاهرة. يكرس عملها جهوداً كبيرة للمجال الإنساني، لا سيما مع النازحين وذوي الاختلافات العصبية، لتمكينهم من مواجهة تحديات الحياة والتعبير عن أنفسهم من خلال الرسم والحركة ورواية القصص عندما تعجز الكلمات عن الوصف.
