Dr. Aya Yousry is a Clinical Psychologist holding a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, with over 14 years of experience in the field of mental health and psychosocial support. She has extensive experience working with international organizations, providing trauma-focused interventions for vulnerable populations affected by violence, PTSD, and gender-based violence.
Dr. Yousry has worked on empowering women within the Financial Regulatory Authority, supporting the non-banking financial sector in adopting policies that promote safe environments and address gender-based violence. She has also served as a Clinical Psychologist at Okasha Institute of Psychiatry, Ain Shams University.
In addition, she is a member of the National Committee for Child and Adolescent Mental Health and a graduate of the Women in Leadership National Program by the International Labour Organization in collaboration with the National Council for Women. She has also worked as a Mental Health consultant at the Ministry of Social Solidarity and as the Case Management Unit Manager at the Egyptian Red Crescent.
