Mahmoud Zaki is a leading Eating Disorders therapist in Egypt who has worked over the past 10 years with individuals and families to overcome eating maladaptive behaviors, bariatric surgery rehabilitation, addiction, and body image issues, in addition to other related struggles such as grief, trauma, mood, and personality disorders.
He has developed and implemented several treatments, groups, and training programs addressing the sophisticated relationship between mental health and eating patterns in Egypt and the United Kingdom. Mahmoud was trained and associated with the National Centre for Eating Disorders in the UK (NCFED) and the British National Centre of Excellence for Eating Disorders (NCEED) after finishing his master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of Westminster, UK. He also completed a diploma in addiction and behavior management at the Net Institute in the USA and the Sports Mental Health Diploma from Western University, Canada.
